Distance Learning Services:

• Computer-based Training (CBT)
  Self-paced, interactive multimedia training delivered on CD-ROM or directly over your local area network can cut your training costs, communicate difficult concepts through multiple learning styles and increase retention.
  
• Web-based Training (WBT)
  Similar to CBT, this self-directed learning experience can be delivered over the Internet or Intranet. When your target audience is spread out, you need WBT. Since the files are located on a single server, it is easy to update and maintain.
• Instructor-led Training (ILT)
  This is the traditional form of training and sometimes is still the best way to deliver your training content. The only difference is, we can help you deliver it in a virtual classroom where all of your students are participating from their desktops wherever they are located. We can also design the training for you. HLS can design everything from the student workbook to the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
• Training & Development Consulting
  Sometimes you need outside help to discover training needs and solutions. A consultant can come on site to help you analyze your organization's specific situation and make recommendations about how to proceed.

Distance Learning Experience:

The Distance Learning Development Center (DLDC) brings a wide variety of enhanced skills to HLS. Its members include specialists in training development, computer graphics development and design, audio recording, mixing and editing, and multimedia programming using the TRADOC standard, Click2Learn Toolbook, Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev 4.0, Course Builder, and Macromedia Flash MX. These proven specialists bring additional years of experience in training and education to the highly qualified Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on the HLS staff, further enhancing HLS' commitment to providing the most up-to-date training to its customers in whatever format required for training support.

Contracting Vehicles:

Higher Learning Systems is sub-contracted under The Logistics Company to bring you the GSA Advantage. You can use the GSA Schedule to contract Distance Learning work with HLS.
