Entre
Business Systems was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1983
as a full-service computer dealer. It began as an authorized distributor
for IBM, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, and others. In 1986, it became
the first authorized Novell networking dealer in the Charlotte area.
However, as the industry has changed, we have changed with it. For
the past several years, we have focused on business technology consulting.
Our mission is to provide technology consulting services that help
companies analyze and implement appropriate technology solutions
to solve common business problems. To that end, we can provide analysis,
design, and implementation of IT infrastructure, telecommuting systems,
distributed applications, and customized methodologies.
SuperCo
Technologies was founded in 1997 as the combination of Entre
Business Systems Group and Inacomp Computer Center. This combination
created the largest and most technologically advanced computer company
in the area. Entre had been in business since 1983 and Inacomp since
1985. Both companies had strong reputations for supplying high quality
products and services in the southeastern North Carolina market.
Prior to 1983
Entre had existed as a computer company named APC Control Systems.
APC sold its first computer in 1977. APC originally opened its doors
in 1975 as a Putt-Putt golf franchise. Twenty-six years later we're
still here serving the needs of our clients as a division of HLS,
Inc.
Higher Learning
Systems was incorporated in 1997 to support a niche market in the
home computer industry. After several years of providing "Higher
Learning" to PC owners, management decided to expand into the
"dial-up" ISP business.
September 1,
2001 Higher Learning Systems, Inc. finalized negotiations with SuperCo
Technologies to merge the two firms, while at the same time expanding
its ISP from just "dial-up" service to broad band technology.
In July 2001, HLS began offering full service support to Fayetteville,
Dunn, and the surrounding communities.
